Acupuncture
The practice of acupuncture aims to restore the balance and flow of Qi by stimulating specific points on the meridians. The selection of points for treatment is tailored to the individual’s condition and symptoms. Acupuncture is used to treat a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, digestive issues, stress, anxiety, and insomnia.
Float Therapy
Float Therapy is a wellness practice that involves lying in a pod filled with warm water and epsom salt, designed to create a near-weightless environment. The high concentration of epsom salt allows the body to float effortlessly on the surface of the water, which is maintained at skin temperature (approximately 35°C).
The primary goal of float therapy is to provide a tranquil space free from external stimuli, allowing the mind and body to enter a state of deep relaxation. Floating can lead to various physical and mental health benefits, including reduced stress, alleviation of chronic pain, improved sleep, enhanced creativity, and greater mental clarity. The buoyancy and zero-gravity environment can also relieve pressure on the joints and muscles, making it beneficial for those with chronic pain or recovering from injuries.
Hot / Cold Therapy
Infrared sauna therapy involves sitting in a sauna that uses infrared heaters to emit infrared light, which is absorbed by the skin to create a deep, penetrating heat. This therapy can increase circulation, promote detoxification, reduce muscle soreness, and improve overall relaxation and stress relief.
Cold plunge therapy, on the other hand, involves immersing the body in cold water, typically ranging from 5 - 10 degrees Celsius. This practice can reduce inflammation, boost the immune system, improve circulation, and accelerate muscle recovery by constricting blood vessels and reducing swelling.
Alternating between infrared sauna therapy and cold plunge therapy leverages the contrasting effects of heat and cold. The heat helps to relax muscles and open blood vessels, while the cold helps to reduce inflammation and tighten blood vessels. This combination can enhance recovery, increase energy levels, and improve overall physical and mental resilience.
